Another fantastic weekend at Lydney house… 14 of us stayed for a long weekend… plenty of space for socialising… 2 hot tubs were fantastic…. All rooms with en-suites and all very similar… great location just 5 mins walk into the centre of Swaffham…. Booked again for our 3rd stay…. Can’t wait
We had a wonderful stay at Lydney House Hotel! We enjoyed the en-suite rooms and spacious lounge areas. We especially loved the underground party cave which was the perfect backdrop for our casino royale themed evening. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook a fancy 3-course dinner. There is so much to do at the house with the pool table, foosball, air hockey and hot tubs. A very short walk into the town center for the Saturday market. Would love to come back again in the future!
Enjoyed my first trip to this new venue to deliver my Cocktail Masterclass! What a house! I'm fortunate to visit many top-notch venues around East Anglia, and this is right up there as one of the better ones. Facilites looked great, lovely kitchen and dining room - also had a sneak peek at the Bar & Games room, so it's the perfect Party Venue. As the weather was lovely, we decided to host the Masterclass out in the courtyard, a great little suntrap and a perfect area to set up. Am back here again in a couple of months - it's nice to have another great Party House in Swaffham
Lydney House Hotel was a fab venue for my sisters hen do. It’s spacious, was very clean and provided lots of added extras such as 2 hot tubs, games room and a fully equipped kitchen. We had a cocktail master class with Steve the Barman and as the weather was so nice we did it outside in the courtyard which was the perfect sun trap! The cellar was also a huge bonus for us as we held a silent disco down there and utilised the free disco lights provided. Location is quiet but so close to amenities/shops. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely house. 16 of us stayed here for Christmas week and we were not disappointed Trees and decorations put up for us were lovely and a very nice hamper was there for us on arrival
What a beautiful house. Where do I start? Every bedroom is ensuite and a good size with lovely clean, crisp bedding. The kitchen has everything and more you could possibly need - 3 large fridge/freezers and 2 dishwashers! The dining/living area is such a great space which connects to the bar where so much fun can be had. For children/babies there are travel cots, high chairs and even toys. There is lots of great outside space with 2 very clean hot tubs. Overall there is nothing we would add to this superb stay - thank you.
Booked Lydney House for my wife's 60th so needed somewhere big enough to accommodate the family get together and what a great property this is. We managed to house most the family here in great clean and functional bedrooms. Had plenty of room to cook, eat, relax, play bingo and generally enjoy the weekend. The property had everything we needed to make it a great weekend. The youngest children loved the spa's whilst the older ones were entertained with the pool/football and air hockey tables. We could relax in the bar area or take things downstairs to the unique basement area. So glad that we booked Lydney House and definitely will look to book again in the future. Thank you for the use of this fantastic property, it has definitely helped us to have great memories to look back on. Paul & Debbie
Amazing house! We rented it for my 50th and had the best time. It had everything we could need. Kitchen well stocked with crockery and cooking equipment and plenty of glasses. Bedrooms lovely and all have en suite which was good. We made use of all the facilities and loved the cellar bar which we turned into our own little nightclub! Short walk into Swaffham where there are plenty of pubs and cafes and we had a great roast at the Station Bar We made some great memories and hope to come back!
